Alumni Relations
The Alumni Relations Unit is the key contact for the Faculty’s alumni and is responsible for the strategy and management of alumni activity. AR develops programming for alumni in the lower Mainland, as well as various regional constituencies with significant alumni representation. AR also provides support to alumni wishing to connect with UBC as well as to Schools and Departments wishing to increase alumni contact. If your Department wants to increase its alumni activity, or if alumni or students contact you about alumni relations, please let us know. alumni@apsc.ubc.ca

Award Nominations
Assistance is available to help you prepare nomination packages for faculty and staff for various UBC, provincial, national and international honours and distinctions. The Applied Science's communications writer can provide assistance by editing nomination letters, coordinating letters of support, compiling supporting documentation and submitting the final nomination package. Please provide advanced notice two months ahead of nomination deadlines to ensure assistance is available. Read more about award assistance.

Communications
The Communications Office provides a variety of services to help promote your department, school, program, centre, research and/or event. A few of these services include creating a communications plan for your unit, publication design, copywriting, editing, photography and media relations.
