Class Reunions
Class reunions provide an excellent opportunity for you to get together with classmates to reminisce, catch up and network. These well attended events help maintain the collegiate spirit of Applied Science alumni. For this reason, the Faculty organizes many events throughout the year and has on staff an alumni relations officer to assist you with organizing these events.
Many of Applied Science's reunion activities cluster around UBC's Annual Alumni Weekend, such as the 30-, 40- and 50-year BASc class reunions. However, there are many other reunions throughout the year, such as the annual summer event for the ECE Classes of 1960 to 2000. All upcoming events are scheduled into our Events Calendar for your convenience.

Regional Alumni Events
Another popular event forum within the Faculty are regional alumni get-togethers. The Dean travels out of the province to connect with you and provides those of you in high-density areas an excuse and an opportunity to find and connect with each other. Currently, Alberta, Toronto, Washington and California are some of the regular stops on the Dean's regional alumni events calendar. If you are in one of those areas, there is a good chance you have already heard about and attended one of these networking events.
As well, whether it be a province, state or international city, many regions have organized alumni chapters, where UBC grads can connect with fellow UBC grads. UBC Alumni Affairs has organized various alumni networks, which we invite you to explore if you are looking for alumni in your area: http://www.alumni.ubc.ca/connect/
Old Red New Red
During Engineering Week each February, the Faculty of Applied Science and the Engineering Undergraduate Society host a fun and sociable evening event, where you can network with current undergraduate engineering students. Alumni share their career experiences and words of wisdom with students, and students get to network with potential employers, learn about exciting opportunities in their fields, and show-off some of the project work they have accomplished throughout the academic year.
